Web hosting and data center services

Web Hosting:

Hosting – we provide hosting for companies’ Internet and e-mail addresses, e.g. www.yourcompany.lt and info@yourcompany.lt. Hosting service includes:

• Domain name registration – necessary for maintaining your company’s web page and everything else.
• WWW server – placing your company’s web page in a server that is directly connected to the Internet. This service is also called “Web Hosting”.
• Maintenance of e-mail boxes.

Data center services:

Baltnetos komunikacijos Ltd. has its own data center with up-to-date infrastructure, the highest security parameters, including physical security, fire prevention and climate control systems, uninterruptible power supply.

The fallowing services are provided in our data center:

• Server collocation - direct connection of your company’s server to the broadband Internet channel inside the data center.
• Dedicated server – leasehold of an entire server stored in our data center. The client has full control over the server, including choice of operating system, hardware, etc. 
• Virtual dedicated server – partition of physical server computer into multiple servers that each has the appearance and capabilities of running on its own dedicated machine. Each of them can run its own operating system, and each server can be independently rebooted.
• Server backup.
• Server performance monitoring & alerts.
• Firewall configuration.

• Firewalls – these servers are designed to protect your computer networks of breaking from outside the company and control the flow of data in the network.
• Secure e-mail server – our specialist will configure your e-mail servers in the way to protect all e-mail boxes from viruses. Also you’ll be able to manage all the functions your self (e.g. adding new e-mail boxes, changing passwords).
• Proxy server – allows monitoring, which web pages are being visited by your employees, and also restricting specific web pages from surfing.
